Philosophy and Objectivity

Philosophy
To strive for producing graduates with knowledge, skills, and expertise in English language and having a potential of applying professional knowledge, adapting to multicultural societies, and living as global citizens.

Objectivity

  1. To cultivate graduates with English communication skills to respond to the government and private sector, support manpower in accordance with the national strategy 2018-2037. 2.2 To cultivate graduates with English communication skills to align with the vision of higher education programs and to cultivate and develop national workforce 2021 – 2027 revised version 2023 – 2027
  2. To cultivate graduates with English communication skills to align with the vision of higher education programs and to cultivate and develop national workforce 2021 – 2027 revised version 2023 – 2027
  3. To cultivate graduates with English communication skills to enter the domestic and international labor markets.
  4. To cultivate graduates with characteristics that are consistent with the four learning outcomes according to the Higher Education Qualification Standards 2022.

 

 

Program Learning Outcomes: PLOs

The program emphasizes on producing graduates who respond to the directions of policies, and strategies of the nation and the university, as well as the needs of stakeholders and corresponds to the 4 criteria complying with announcement of the Higher Education Standards Committee regarding details of learning outcomes according to the Higher Education Qualification Standards 2022, including focusing on producing graduates with the ability to think analytically and synthetically. In addition, students are able to seek knowledge throughout life on the basis of having a sense of patriotism, being grateful, disciplined and socially responsible. Students who graduate from this program have the following abilities in each area:

1. Knowledge
PLO1 Be able to explain the principles of English for communication in daily life and occupation.
PLO2 Be able to apply knowledge of linguistics, literature, translation, and communication skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing to communicate for living and working.
PLO3 Be able to apply English knowledge for specific purposes in the Chinese language, teaching English, tourism and hotel management, Events, digital corporate communications, political science, or political science and international relations either as a basis for an occupation.
PLO4 Be able to explain the basic of Thai language and sciences related to the basic of life, society, health, economy, culture and the environment.

2. Skills
PLO5 Commanding English communication skill suited with international standards including Thai and other foreign languages. Having skills in presenting work in public Communication in daily life and occupation.
PLO6 Proficient in analytical reasoning, synthesis, and data management, with the ability to effectively employ logic and creativity and being able to apply those skills to design a research logically.
PLO7 Proficient in using digital technology for research, filtering, and knowledge collection for working in an English speaking environment and continuously having knowledge.
PLO8 Having good interpersonal communication skills, able to cooperate with others, and maintaining physical and mental health.
PLO9 Be able to apply English knowledge for specific purposes in the Chinese language, teaching English, tourism and hotel management, Events, digital corporate communications, political science, or political science and international relations either as a basis for an occupation.

3. Ethics
PLO10 Being gratitude, responsible, honest, punctual and not violating academic ethics.

4. Characters
PLO11 Having an open attitude accepting differences and changes in the economy, society, culture and environment. Being able to live life as a global citizen
PLO12 Having a confidence to express academic opinions appropriately. Being both a leader and a follower and being able to work with others, have leadership qualities, volunteer spirit, and discipline.
